I could barely get all the way down Palisades Ave. to the beach it was so beautiful. Almost every front yard I seen had me stopping to take a picture of their flowers. My husband thought we would never make it to the pier. Forgive me, I guess I should’ve known the landscape of California was so glamorous, given its reputation. Seeing all of the colors in the yards, just inspired me to think about how I was going to landscape my own front yard and would I have random strollers take pictures of my design?
I was in love with it all. I thought about how much more time I would spend outdoors if I had this much of a variety of plant life surrounding me. My favorite plant would have to be the large succulents. It was amazing to see succulents so huge! My favorite flower, however, was the foxglove or the foxlove, it’s the pinkish purple flower with the spots. All I could think about was how many hours it took to plan such a lavish landscape. But to be honest, at first, I thought it was just natural. I was like, wow, I’ve never seen plants just growing so beautiful like this before. I then said to myself get out of La La Land and realized somebody was paid to make these landscapes, These front yards looks so amazing.
