The Rebirth Challenge (part 2)

First, I would like to thank you for checking back to read up on the experience I had with the Rebirth Challenge. The Rebirth Challenge is a six week workout program designed by, professional trainer, Jenna DeLeon. This is part two of my reflection and I highly recommend reading part one if you haven’t already. Let’s jump right back in where we left off.

Determined was the mindset going into week four. To get my training done properly, I started to use the scheduler on the app to help preplan my workouts. The workouts are designed for five days a week, and they are broken up into circuits that are usually between 4-6 and last about a hour. Have you ever wished there were more hours in a day? That was the feeling I was having trying to get the workouts done. Equally important, the results were resulting! Proud of myself at this point was an understatement.

By all means going into week five with the realization that my body was changed elevated my goals. I wanted to train as hard as I could for the best results. The strategies I was using in this situation aided in my success. In part one, I mentioned how I stopped eating fast food and continued hiking as usual. Along with that I was consuming high amounts of water. These actions definitely contributed to my success during this program. Would you be able to give up fast food? I’m wondering how much water do you consume in a day? For the record 8 cups of water a day was my goal.

Progress had its proof and I was jumping with joy! The final week was here but it was bitter sweet. Happy with my results, but knowing that the program was coming to an end. This made me think of what my future workouts were going to look like. Would I take a break or keep going strong? Thinking about that was hard to do after being so focused on this program.

Pleased with my results and thinking of how the other ladies results were going to stack up in comparison, had me in competitor mode. This pressure was late coming, how didn’t feel this way the entire time. Either way, I finished strong, jumping from one workout to another on 2 of the 5 days. When I finished, pulled out the lights and camera, and like clock work I took my final photos.

I indeed felt like I crossed the finish line! My daughter gave me a big hug. I imagined accepting a prize as a winner and everything! You know that I made it feeling? I definitely felt that.

I thought I should share on Instagram my gym visits the last week of The Rebirth Challenge. Given that idea I posted on my story and the response was awesome! It felt good to celebrate and share my experience on social media along with receiving such a positive response. With that being said, I would like to thank you for your time and let you know I appreciate you for reading part 2 of this Rebirth experience. Helping someone on their journey or inspiring them to take that first step to better self is the ultimate goal.
