I’m going to start by saying thanks for checking out the post! I appreciate you and I’m glad you’re here. Did you tell anyone, May the forth be with you? Or did you get to respond, May the forth be with us all? Either way I hope you are in good spirits.
Four days of the challenge complete!
If you read the last post you are aware that it’s day 4 of the 30 day challenge my husband and I started. The first day so far has been the hardest. Day 2 was easy, I didn’t really think about candy or chips and that helped keep me focused on the goal.
Day 3 on the other hand had its challenges. On the third day my children asked if they could get fast food. Fast food is on the list of things I cannot have this month. In my mind this response was easy, I told them nope. However, they are not apart of the challenge, plus they have money of their own and started to remind me of that. After a light debate about saving money we settled that they would pay for their food and my taxi fee. I thought this would help with my temptation but I was wrong.
The delicious scent of hot French fries out the grease was overwhelming, on top of that, they lucked up and got free vanilla shakes with the order! I never thought the sweet smell of vanilla and cream paired with the open mouth chewing of French fries would be torturous. It’s safe to say I still learn something new every day.
Day 4, was challenging but not as bad as day 1 or 3. My energy I believe was low today. Finding myself losing patience in situations that normally don’t bother me. I still managed to get all of my motherly and wifely duties done and make it to the gym.
Have you been thinking about starting any challenges? Please share your ideas! Also come back for the update the next post, to see how the Challenge is going.
